I have seen it. The mask mandate is lifted and at least half of the people out and about refuse to let go of their masks.
I asked a young, healthy clerk why the mask. The reply: “Personal choice.”

Ugh gawd, you are right, this is downright depressing. Then again, I have always maintained that we are going to have a problem in this country with far more onerous restrictions than anywhere else in the Western World.
Why? Because look at our vax percentages. 85% of Canadians were gullible enough/terrified enough/compliant enough to run out and get the poison injections without even thinking about it. Contrast that with the USA, where 1 in 3 said “forget it, I’m not taking that shit”.
Canada could bring back the face rags and vax passes and any other shit they want, and the average persons response would be a sing-song-y “oh well”.
