Gee, I recall – heck, it slaps me in the face daily – that the West does not consider one culture superior to another. They are all the same, except the U.S. which is built on the dastardly white supremacy and other not-so-nice things, so we come up last in the culture races.

Anyway, I wonder why I haven’t heard any insightful interviews about how great the Russian culture is these days. I mean they are at least at parity with the rest of the world, according to the Western world’s report card on cultures and such. Surely they are close to the untouchable China, wouldn’t you think? You know, the China that has and is practicing genocide against certain cultural populations. The China that smashed democratic Hong Kong to death. The China that mandated abortion with their “one child” policy for decades. Hmmm.

And oh, the horror of men, women and children being killed, often grotesquely. What, did you think, a war is played with wooden swords? Anyway, what about what the Western world inflicted on, oh, say, Iraq? Or how about that little mess in Serbia? Anyone remember turning Libya into a hell-hole? Or say, Syria. Anyone remember the little incursion into Honduras? How about more recently, say last August, when the U.S. blew up an entire family in Afghanistan with a drone strike. Oops, mistaken identity as a terrorist. Sorry about that. Perhaps a memory as long back as Viet Nam?

The crimes committed against humanity by the West, are long and deep indeed. All those men, women and children blown to bits…for what?

Then what about the wonder of the entire world going bonkers over covid? Causing broken hearts, broken relationships, torn families, broken minds, business lost, marriages destroyed, kids damaged and corrupted,  innocent people dying right, left and center because the establishment would not allow early effective treatment?

Ah, yes, the smug, holier-than-thou hypocritical West. And the USA at the lead of the pack. I think the west has carried smug back-patting hypocrisy to a level never before seen in the history of the world.

Meanwhile, not one in a billion has a clue about Russian culture, Russian worldview, Russian values. Nope, no interest in that. No effort to understand or grasp the “why” of the Russian actions in Ukraine. Ignorance plus hypocrisy = the world coming unglued.
