if you listen, he talks like the government owns our freedom and can restrict it as much as government deems “wise and necessary.” ANYONE who believes that a wearing a face mask as a government requirement is to be shunned and scorned. Is this really the best Canada can do? Are there no true believers in freedom and liberty left in politics? Had high hopes for the guy, but peel the layers back and he’s simply a toned-down Trudeau.

I don’t think the truckers would be on board with the guy if they listened to what he really has to say. Surface freedom, and freedom controlled by government in any way, shape or form, is not freedom. It is a con.
Any time someone says “I don’t mind wearing a piece of cloth on my face…” it’s time to flush his sorry ass down the toilet. It reveals ignorance and subjection to government edicts on a grand scale. Find someone else…

Still hate it when someone brags about being for freedom “except I have no problem wearing a piece of cloth on my face” when masking has been debunked for a mighty long time. wonder why they can remain so damn ignorant, and cannot even see the contradiction in the same paragraph they are speaking!!!
And no need to be perfect, just consistent would be a breakthrough.

Like you, however, I have no vested interest in WHO specifically gets elected as long as they can lead Canada back to FREEDOM and away from the totalitarian policies of the Liberals as mentored by the WEF! Who better do you recommend as the leader that can remove Trudeau forever?

So, a much preferred alternative to the crap you folks have put up with for decades. But he still needs to be chastised for contradicting himself. Masks have zero to do with freedom. See if he agrees with you. If not, I’d only vote for him while holding my nose.
It’s funny. It’s almost like I’m hearing (not to put words in anyone’s mouth, mind you) – We’ve been robbed of our freedom so long, I’ll take this guy who “allows” or “gives us back” 80% of our freedom.
Freedom is not taken away, it is given away. And once gone, it can take a very very very long time to get it back.

The U.S. permanently lost it’s freedoms in three giant steps: the failure of the Confederate secession; the establishment of the Fed; the creation of the income tax and IRS. We will NEVER recover freedom here.
