A COVID EXPERIENCE
From a Goldtent Supporter , Gregg . This will be constructive for many here .
Hi Gary,
Long time fan of Goldtent. I just wanted to share my experience of dealing with COVID as a very healthy fit 61 y/o.
Best I can tell I caught it on October 9th or 10th. The symptoms started on the 14th. I didn’t get tested until the following Wednesday. Sore throat, head congestion , body aches, cough and can’t taste.
I signed up with Frontline doctors and must say I’ve been a bit disappointed with the whole thing. I paid my $90 just so they could have me pick a pharmacy which was even more disappointing. I have to wait 3 weeks and they charged me $190 for Ivermectin and antibiotics.
I’m almost at the end. Just a bit of head congestion, cough and no taste and considered cancelling the Ivermectin but decided to continue with it so I have some in case someone else needs it. I can’t imagine I’ll still have any symptoms 3 weeks from now.
Just some anecdotal information to compare if you know anyone who picks this thing up.
All the best. Thanks for all you do.
Greg
…………….
Thanks for the input Gregg
Glad you got over it
I agree you should get the IVN…good to have. I am a strong believer
Sorry to hear of your interaction with Front Line Doctors
It’s ridiculous we have to get IVN thru this convoluted method of course
Anyone who wants some should go thru the process Before they get sick
That’s the lesson here I would say
Thanks again for the feedback and support
keep the faith
best
Fully
Thanks for sharing your story.
We used Frontline Docs as well – got our prescription immediately upon completion of phone consult, which took a day to set up. Got the local pharmacy to fill it, using GoodRX as our search tool for cheapest available.
Just this week we established a relationship with a local doc who had already prescribed another dosage of Ivermectin. Got that filled next day; sent our “old” presecription to our daughter and so-in-law in NC overnight. Now protected on all fronts.
We found the Frontline folks to be helpful but cumbersome, they were overwhelmed with demand. We paid about $80 for our respective dosages. $70 for the tele-consult. The second session my wife had was done via email, no teleconnection at all. Easy-peasy.
