Rat skins, dodo heads, tepid lemon aide!
That’s one of may favorite skits.
>> That’ll be half a chicken <<
Hmm, using chickens as the gold standard for barter. Good idea.
A better idea might be egg laying chickens. An enterprising individual could keep chickens and trade the eggs as well.
But how does one figure the egg laying capability, and therefore the premium on prized chickens?
Early math might present a problem.
For example, if a chicken and half, laid an egg and a half, in a day and a half, how many eggs can a chicken lay in a day?
If you answer "one egg" then you are trading too many dodo heads for the chicken.
“Can I wear it.” “No.” So, the Bitcoin crowd is attempting to convince people that gold cannot be worn. We live in a time where even the most obvious facts are rejected by crowds of people, and there is no way to convince them otherwise. I saw someone on Twitter, who appeared to be somewhat popular, state that Bitcoin was a commodity. This was stated as a fact, even though it is obviously false to even the most casual observer. The madness of crowds is truly something to behold.
