The Magnificent Seven
Here is a listing of the seven gold and silver mining rocks that I have posted about here at the Tent previously(listed alphabetically): Blackrock Gold(BKRRF), Falcon Gold(FGLDF), First Vanadium Corp.(FVANF), Freemont Gold(FRERF), Gold Standard Ventures Corp.(GSV), Strikepoint Gold(STKXF), and Viscount Mining Corp.(VLMGF). I personally have limited myself to these seven rocks after doing extensive screening of many others. That is not to say that these will be the best of the hundreds of rocks out there. My criteria are mainly that I want US and Canadian jurisdictions for the bulk of their projects. I want stocks that weren’t multiples higher in the past like many rocks that have had reverse splits etc. The charts show either little or reasonable amounts of overhead resistance so that if the metals go higher these should all have lots of runway above. If you are interested in any or all, try to buy the dips. I do not expect to be adding to my precious metals portfolio from here on in unless something comes along that is too good to ignore. I also don’t expect to be selling any anytime soon. I may take 2021 off entirely?
Thanks Chartsmaster
Will have a look at the Canadian Counterparts
Yes, actually most of them are Canadian based companies.
I suspect Fully meant (as a Canadian) that he’d look at their Vancouver tickers.
I’m intrigued because I did a CA miner tracking review just last year, and half of your seven aren’t on my collection (GSV, Falcon and Strikepoint were — the rest not.)
Any suggestions for a good place to go for active tickers in the sector? I guess this is for others, since I don’t use the pink sheets. So I mean .v or .to symbols.
I thought that might be what Fully was referring to? Don’t have any Ttracking sources but if you use bigcharts.com it will usually show you both the canadian symbol as well as US if there is one. Hope that helps?
if you click on the stock, it takes you to the site page for mor data

Copy and Paste into excel, and it comes out as a tidy list.
Unfortunately, no trading symbols but its a solid list.
Can’t reply to myself just below any more. So here instead.
But the link to companies list …. I don’t have HALF of these listings.
I know a few are London.
Suspect most of those I’m missing are ASX (can’t get my charts for them).
I’m also seeing dozens that I do have not on this list.
Added these to my watch list, thanks.
That’s a very good list, Chartmaster. If I had any cash left I’d be a buyer today…
Well said, Silverboom. See my most recent post!
Do you have a personal favourite of the 7 listed? Why?
Yes I do Kewl2. I posted a few times about BKRRF. I explained that I originally bought at .18 just before it exploded on it’s run to 1.20. I took some off there and again on it’s way down to 1. When they released a second set of drilling results and didn’t go back up, I sold it all, especially because of the big gap around .35. I waited for months to see if it would fill and recently, about two weeks ago posted that I bought back in at .50 and added at .51-.52. It popped all the way to .89 yesterday before pulling back. The risk is higher than .52 two weeks ago but I believe the potential is worth it. One which just recently had a sizeable pullback is VLMGF. Very volatile and never seems to follow the metals on any given day. It does it’s own thing but if you buy on dips you should do well. Good luck.
