Corona is a Hard Working Virus…what with having to fly around all day and look for unsuspecting hosts to get into and start replicating by the billions….needs a rest for a couple days a week
So far this Second wave is a bit of a disappointment for MSM…Now what.. sheesh
I am not certain, but I believe that I saw at least one state explicitly note that their numbers were under-reported around the time of weekends and then increase right after weekends. It would make sense that hospitals, nursing homes, and other entities would be understaffed during weekends and prioritize things other than calling into possibly closed state offices. I think I see at least a trend towards highs on Mondays (when some weekend deaths would be reported) or at least Mondays+Tuesdays compared to Thursdays+Fridays even taking into account other trends, but it is hard to be sure.
The same held true for “cases” as for deaths if I remember correctly.

Perhaps you misunderstood my little joke.
It is rather obvious that the corona stats such as they are ( manipulated to the nth degree )… are under reported on weekends and they catch up on week days.
It is not the virus that take a weekend off but the Virus Police reporters do…that was the real point

The daily death numbers would have to be based on what data source?
Logic would say that it should be death certificates, which include the date and time of death.
The date and time goes into the data.
It makes no logical sense that deaths should drop on weekends.
On that basis, all the numbers are highly suspect, and cannot be relied upon to give a true picture.
And for what purpose to rig the numbers?
