   Not on your main topic, but addressing one of your side points:

   many scales will fall off many eyes when left-vs-right, trump-vs-anti-trump, other divisions within those who are below the 0.001% are taken less at face value but more as manifestations of divide-and-rule.

   I obtained Hydroxychloroquine via link below. Have it just in case. Will be taking an airline flight in August (backpacking Tahoe rim with one of my sons) so hedging. Cost about $100 including the interview with doctor. Can’t have medical conditions related to heart problems. Incidentally, I took Hydroxychloroquine in the 80’s when I was in the Navy when we made port calls in several African nations (malaria). I had no issues…and neither did the other 200 men on the ship. Of course, I was much younger and better looking then 🙂

     Most unfortunate that the setting requires them, with reason, to be cautious with patients with heart problems. In a better world patients with heart conditions would be screened by physicians and given the required meds often.

     Patients with lupus often have cardiac abnormalities yet are often on hydroxychloroquine for years.

       But I do not know the details. Perhaps many lupus patients with cardiac abnormalities are excluded — not an area of expertise for me.

   Hydroxychloroquine is 65 years old. 5 million doses are prescribed per year. The Wikipedia apparently discovered many new side effects, “side effects” went from 345 to 440 words. “Overdose” went from 33 to 201 words and “contraindications” went from 0 to 41 words.
   Seeing these opinions of “scientists” who do not study, and reading the studies, I made a decision: I would continue to research the subject to keep up with the news. You can’t trust anyone.
