There are 94,000 new cases in the world…by far the highest day !
One day was 100,000 but that was when France added like 40,000 cases they hadn’t included from Nursing homes
The USA accounts for 46,000 new cases so far today….almost half of all the new cases in the world !
New cases in Italy Spain France Germany and most continental European Countries have been decreasing for a couple weeks now…which is good of course
New cases in the USA are out of control !
It is Obvious now in hindsight that the Countries that have fared the best were those that went to strict lockdowns and controls early on and those that were prepared to test early on.
USA Did NOT and WAS not !

You all have this 2.2 trillion package …some of which is supposed to flow to individuals in dire straits …but so far nothing but a messy confusing log jam.
Meanwhile the Canada Revenue Agency ( our IRS) just set up a system so that anyone who had made at least 5,000 last year but cannot claim unemployment insurance ( usually because they are self employed)…will get a direct deposit of $2,000 every month they are out of work for 4 months.
I though the application would be a night mare…but it takes 3 minuets to register either online or by phone and the money will arive in 3 business days.
I give them an A+ for putting all this together for millions of Canadians and so efficiently in less than 3 weeks lead time.
