50,000 has become a million, and will become many millions. The economic ‘worst case’ scenario is now certain. Looks after yourselves and your loved ones. Stay home. Stay safe.
Staying home will keep folks safe temporarily. But most everyone will EVENTUALLY get exposed this year.
Distancing allows us to TAKE TURNS getting sick. Get healthy now, to fare better later.
Wearing a face mask when you must go inside a public building will help to minimize your risk of infection.
You can make an improvised mask with an old dish towel or other suitable cloth, secured with Velcro or elastic.
This would not be as effective as a commercial N95 mask, but it is much better than no mask.

We get free treatment in hospitals here, but I would rather get the virus in a few months time when the main peak has passed and treatment is more effective.
Yes NS, best to get it later, and not only when the treatment might be more effective, but when treatment would be more available. Only the critically ill can hope to get treatment in Hotspots like ours (3rd state in the country now). And not all are lucky enough to get a ventilator — Rationing is the reality.
I was determined we tough it out at home, and fortunately it worked for us old guys. Now we worry about our kids and grandkids. We already know someone (in his 50s with 2 kids) who died from Covid on Tuesday, nearby in our county.
Have lost interest in trading. Plenty is enough, why do we try for more???
