The sentiment amongst gold (bugs) is definitely one of the victim. Expecting to be beaten if they draw attention to themselves. We may have a pull back but the truth we all know, is the price of PMs should be several deviations over current levels. Let’s just plant our flag and wait for the world to swim ashore.

Iran signed a 25 year contract with China. China gained full control of Iran Oil fields. China is the worlds largest consumer of Oil and it’s buying it with Au among other forms of currency. The Petro Dollar is on the line, Control of the ME is on the line, Monetization of Gold is on the line, the fate of the $US is on the line. The CB’s are looking at this no doubt as Iran just sent them a clear message recently. Russia is the only other country authorized to work Iranian Oil fields and must be Chinese approved fwiw.
The lines have been drawn long ago this is not a 2020 election play gents of the tent.
May everyone draw their own conclusions of which way this eventually plays out but Iran isn’t Libya and Iran has friends with skin in the game.
But ask yourself one question to what extent is the US and the CB’s willing to go to protect the status quo?

Perspective is a product of ones environment with the common human nature thread of greed and power, doesn’t change between cultural differences. The only variable is ones perspective.
