     In fact he asked, what would you rather have at this point, a ton of gold or a piano top floating near by?

   I think it’s interesting as a nearly unique puzzle to study for those who have time on their hands. Perhaps oversimplifying, and definitely naive, I see it as tending to be a large area of claims containing probably shallow layers of high grade heterogeneous material, prior placer from long ago, now in extremely dry region. You have problems like nugget effect except with real dry placer nuggets, some at least now in sedimentary rock. You have problems like those of mining dry placers, an old problem. You have problems of mining a large area of shallow extremely high grade stuff, perhaps wreaking havoc on fragile flora and fauna (haven’t seen that problem mentioned). But extraordinarily high grade. And of course there are the as far as I know unspoken dreams of something not so shallow.

   I also think “Otto” at IKN has probably had it approximately right for a long time. Though generally skeptical in tone he has explicitly stated several times that he refuses to recommend either going long or short but simply said it’s a pure gamble–could go either way. (At one point he chastised them for a bit too much promo as I recall.)

   I myself bought it on the way down at multiple points when I 1st saw it hitting the nuggety stuff on a You Tube video that was so provocative that the Co took it down I think, saw Otto’s comment about not recommending it except as gambling, bought some more as a gamble, then sold some on the way down from its high, and hold so I may have a bias one way or another (don’t know which). In any case I think it’s interesting, but like Otto and Spock I don’t know whether it’s good to buy or to sell. NEM sold its share to KL as I recall. Sumitomo has a JV with them. Big companies can afford to throw their money around though. It is interesting though–likely to be a big loser or possibly big winner.
