   Gold made a significant bottom the week of Aug. 13. We’re up 27 weeks since then, are now entering week 28, and gold has likely topped for this IC. In other words, this intermediate cycle is long in the tooth. It’s hard to see how we don’t go down into the ICL now. That would mean at least 3 more weeks down(and possibly even 8 weeks down if the IC ran 35 weeks.) I wouldn’t be buying at this point, but I also don’t think that means the bears are in control. Just my 2cents.

     My professional friend (who has almost 50 years of experience AND great credibility) is looking for a decline into a time window of March 11th, + or – 1 day.

       Thanks for the link. I did a back of the envelope 15 day count from what I think probably was the high for this cycle on Feb 20 and had marked my calendar for March 13 myself(looking to add another streamer) so perhaps the week of March 11 is one to note.

   During the five year plus bear market, most breakouts were a trap. Now, we have been conditioned to believe the very same thing, that is, this minor breakout we just witnessed is another trap and we are beginning to recede into a ICL. If this is secular bull reigniting I would think bear market rules get thrown out and a quick run to 1400-1500 happens next month after a brief consolidation to set the coiled spring.
