PARABOLAS
This Charts Says …What ?
1….Parabolas are Awesome but when the Break THEY Break for a LONG Time .
Its going on 30 Years since Japan Broke …maybe the Nikkei has started to breakout
Oil’s Parabola topped 10 Years ago
God’s Parabola topped 7 Years ago
Nazdaq ? hasn’t had a confirmed top yet but everyone and his donkey is waiting
Will it be the FANG stocks to drive it down. Such few companies responsible for the S&P gains. Japan buying and propping up perhaps as their gov’t prints and buoys their own market, so why not help the American amigas??? The only viable one is Amazon and the other 3 can go poof anytime as new gig comes to town ( especially ones that don’t spy on ya).
Is gold following the yuan more than the yen or is it just my imagination ….
‘They (parabulas) break for a LONG time) Gold’s parabola popped 7 years ago.’
Yes, parabolas do break for a long time. Fans of Mike Maloney’s ‘Hidden Secrets of Money’ know that he is not a proponent of imminent hyper inflation. Google ‘Mike Maloney Deflation First’ to view some of his many videos on the topic. Pay attention to his comments on the velocity of money.
Gold bulls insist that the high gold price in 2011 was not a bubble because… (insert reason here) Maybe it wasn’t, but it certainly WAS a parabola. The 1980 gold rise was also a parabola. If this gold market behaves similar to the 1980 phenomena, and so far it has, then gold will retest and possibly fail (briefly) at the 2015 lows before a rally takes the price back up to the August 2016 highs. As for the dollar, it could very well meander along directionless through this whole 15 year cycle.
Very interesting Fully.
Fair point. There are arguaments both for and against a sustained gold bull at this point. The main one for me right now is where we are in the commodity and dollar 30 and 15 year cycles.
