In recent times from 1982 onward DOW experienced three bubbles and crashes. All indicated overbot condition on RSI- and ADX warning of impending reversal.

In all threes cases DOW shed 38 % to 54% from top.

Prior to 1982 DOW was capped at 1000 for 14 years since 1964.

Since 1982 DOW has not been in long term bear trend of like Gold from 1980 to 1999 and NIKK from 1989 to 2009 bottom.
