Anyone else following Defiance Silver?

   Someone, presumably you, mentioned it fairly recently, so I looked at it briefly and look at its price changes routinely now. I am strictly amateur, and I tend to go by intuition more than formal methodology, but your word “follow” is pertinent. I tend to do better if I speculate in something whose prices have seemed to moved well in one epoch, and then again months or years later (I suppose the informal analog of “fractals”), and even better in several epochs or timescales.

   So I noted what looked to be potentially astute management, potentially wonderful property. I also noted (if I recall correctly) not so very much cash and thought that a company w/o much cash was on the verge of extinction a half year ago but now might do well for shareholders depending on management’s luck, skill, and decency. I glanced at charts at various timescales — I mainly eyeball charts w/o many indicators — and was a bit put off by the recent jump, which had just occurred (I am less put off by the relative stabilization at or just above the level).

   I noted how relatively little spare cash I have allocated for speculation at the moment–some though. I thought of the other dicey prospects that I’ve been following for so much longer or the newer ones that have this or that extra touches or special (perhaps bogus, perhaps truly exceptional generally overlooked) enticements for me that this one doesn’t, or ones with managements I happened to be familiar with. I wished that I had money to allocate for it without thinking hard (but if I had that much money I’d be doing other things than thinking about money and investment/speculation). I considered how many, many times I’ve made bad errors though by no means all the time. So that’s how I have begun to “follow” it.

   A long way of saying, yes, I do follow it, with my decidedly amateur intuitive way, and I’m open to criticism on my unrigorous methodology. Thank you for letting me know about this company.

   Yes it is on my radar. Once it corrects i will be a buyer. I an waiting for SGR to come down.
