America’s long, cold war-era campaign to propagandize the rest of the world is coming to an end. The Wall Street Journal ran the story yesterday headlined, “Trump moves to gut several agencies, targeting Voice of America, libraries.” The Deep State and the mockingbird media are mourning.

Yesterday, President Trump signed a new executive order slashing several more obscure federal agencies, including the agency that oversees the Deep State darling Voice of America (VOA), a cold war-era “news outlet” that Trump has long accused of spreading communist propaganda.

Showing its terrific effect, Swamp Creatures instantly shrieked with outrage, even though most Americans never heard of the handful of instantly defunct agencies. The U.S. Agency for Global Media, which runs VOA, the Office of Cuba Broadcasting, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty and Radio Free Asia, is a so-called “independent agency” established by Congress a very long time ago. Here’s a sample of VOA headlines making the rounds last night on social media:

It was another example of the Administration’s shift into the second phase. Last month, Trump appointed MAGA superstar Kari Lake, who unsuccessfully ran for governor and Senate in Arizona, to serve as a ‘special adviser’ at the agency. Nobody really knew what that was all about. Well, yesterday everybody found out. Kari, silent about USAGM for weeks, started tweeting up a storm.

Kari posted a scathing critique of the agency (and its sub-agencies) that called it “unsalvagable,” “a giant rot and burden to the American taxpayer,” and “irretrievably broken.” She cited a report finding that USAGM fraternizes with “spies and terrorist sympathizers” and that the agency has been infiltrated by foreign operatives. She found “eye-popping” self-dealing contracts and grants and high-dollar, fake “settlement agreements” with insiders.

Kari complained that everyone in DC knows how bad it is. “There’s a reason,” she said, it’s referred to as ‘pound-for-pound the most corrupt agency in Washington DC.’”

Possibly worst of all, although it’s hard to pick a worst, Kari disclosed that USAGM hardly produces its own news, and when it does, it usually “parrots the talking points of America’s enemies.” Instead, it usually “grants” hundreds of millions of dollars a year to leftist media outlets like the Associated Press.

If USAID was the Swamp’s on-the-ground operation, USAGM was its media mouthpiece. In other words, USAGM is the Deep State’s nerve center for international media manipulation. VOA’s entire 1,300-person staff was put on leave — sidelined indefinitely — pending further review, which, in Washington dialect, means “you might want to update your LinkedIn.”

Trump just surgically castrated them. Without anesthesia.

“While at USAGM, I vow to fully implement President Trump’s executive orders in his mission to reduce the size & scope of the federal government. Today we continue the process of doing that by streamlining our operations to what is statutorily required by law,” Kari tweeted last night.

This story isn’t just about budget-shearing an obscure agency. It continues a larger pattern: Trump prepped the battlefield in Phase One by hogtying the global swamp creatures. Now, it’s not just about slashing budgets anymore. It’s methodical extermination. Trump is hunting them down and slashing their throats (metaphorically), tearing out the Deep State’s voice box before it can scream.

The dramatic scene unfolding is the real end of the Cold War, which has quietly continued for 50 years —a half century of shadow games, covert ops, and media manipulation— stealthily and undemocratically propped up by necon termites and former spooks infesting the federal apparatus and hollowing out our sovereign substance. It’s been spy-versus-spy-versus-spy, gamekeepers-turned-poachers, poachers-turned-arms merchants, blurred alliances, and foxes-in-the-henhouse until it became utterly impossible to tell the good guys from the bad guys.

Now, it’s suddenly over. When you read corporate media crying that “Russia and China benefited most,” translate that to, “Russia and China now have one fewer reason to be furious at us.” We are all safer now.

Kari Lake wasn’t just a “special advisor.” She was a demolition specialist, sent to survey the foundation before Trump leveled the whole rotten structure. And she didn’t disappoint. The Deep State’s international echo chamber just got torn down, bricked up, and boarded over. Phase Two is moving fast, foot on the gas, no brakes. Stay tuned.
