rockin’ out in the Ennedi
Rock n’ Roll Greetings!
The centerpiece of the trip in Chad was a place called the Ennedi Region. On our 4th day of rocking & rolling across the landscape of Chad, we finally ventured into the fringes of the exotic Ennedi and began to comprehend the fullness of why we had come here. The photos show the way:

Hoping everything is always worth the effort to you!

ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW
What an incredible place
Thanks as always GB for bringing these exotic places to the Tent
We are all the richer for it
I hope so. Thanks, FGC. When I see the photos I took, it’s usually hard for me to believe I was actually there, whatever the place. It’s like I get to appreciate the experiences from new perspectives, then try to connect them with the memories. This stuff from Chad is so exotic to me, other-worldly.
My experiences all feel deeply golden to me, so there’s somewhat of a tie-in to the underlying PM theme of GoldTent. I’m an addicted gold miner, traveling far and wide to find the golden nuggets! Can’t get enough!!! 😉
Did I already say: I love life!
Just got back from a sunrise walk, awed by the snow-covered peaks of Oregon’s Cascade Mountains all lit up. Lots of thoughts came to mind during this active meditation, including:
I am an incredibly fortunate gold miner, bumping into Real Gold everywhere, even right at home! There’s no need to travel, but it’s fun to find gold in new places and situations. I trip over it, fall into it, even find it in my dreams; the gold is literally everywhere.
Anyone care to invest in my little company, GoldBalloon Unlimited?! No, I didn’t think so. You’re right: invest in yourself! That way, you’ll have more to share with others.
