Great respect to Mr. Bannon, but Trump won because it was time. He would have won without Elon, and he would have won without all those who came late to the parade. Trump won because Trump! I shouldn’t have to burnish my credentials as a Trump supporter to the Tent. When the 2020 selection of Biden occurred, I was defiant. From that moment forward, I proffered Trump as the inevitable Republican nominee for 2024, and the eventual election winner. Most Tenters will remember, if they are honest, their support for Gabbard, Haley, Desantis, Rubio, Ramaswamy and others. As well, they may recall their fear of Michele Obama, Hillary, Kamala and the California kid, pretty boy Gavin Newsom. I was intrepid, although I haven’t heard any acknowledgement of the fact.
I’m not a Trump fan. His appointments, for the most part, have been a disappointment to me. Yet, I remain hopeful. As I have stated, his job is to defeat the deep state. Everything else is secondary.
