The backdrop to Trump’s shocking policy against Canada

   It is shocking, if you haven’t been paying attention all these years. Canadians have been so busy preening, and telling themselves, and the world, about how wonderful they are, that they’ve neglected to notice that trade is important to real countries. So we don’t really do that. We do what we’ve done for two hundred years – sell ourselves to our sugar daddy. Well, daddy figures we’ll hump harder for less, and he’s certainly right. Trump would be stupid to squeeze us too hard though. We are a reliable whore, after all. Sooner or later, we might notice the richer guy over thataway. His first and last name is BRICS, I think. Even old whores get frisky when they’re hungry enough. If we get real frisky, we might realize that we are one of the richest counties in the world, capable of generating enormous wealth for our people. Of course, our people are being replaced by third world people, so maybe we shouldn’t give a shit. Nevertheless, the fact that the US would treat Canada in this fashion is shocking, and shameless, but what else would you expect?

     If anybody remembers what I have said with regard to Trump these past few years, you will know that I wish him to engage, and defeat, the deep state in America. He is certainly the only option capable of undertaking the task. You will also know that I have little faith in him to do anything else worthwhile. I will be ecstatic if he succeeds in that singular, and most important, task. He has been given a unique opportunity to become heroic. A whole new world awaits us all in the west, if he is successful. If not, I fear decades of stagnation, while the rotting corpse of hegemony envelops the master and his supplicants. Godspeed, President Trump!
     We all know that Chinese curse; may you live in interesting times. We had no fucking idea, did we?

   He is doing you a favor. Trying to shock Canadians out of their stupor where they keep electing a totalitarian moron named Castreau. Get rid of him and get back to being what you once were and the US and Canada can go back to their days of mutual prosperity. Remember tariffs are for negotiating. Because the three countries have a tri-lateral deal and he needs to accomplish those stated goals, mostly because of Mexico, Canada gets caught in the fallout, temporarily.
