I hope Trump instructs the Dept of Justice to make significant reparations to those falsely convicted and imprisoned.
I listened to a conversation yesterday where one of the speakers was referencing pardons for J6 political prisoners. It was mentioned that IF Trump issues pardons than the recipient is not eligible for reparations because they are deemed to have been guilty and then pardoned.
In order to make them eligible for reparations, a different (but longer) methodology needs to be used to free them.
Don’t know if this is true or not but it was a compelling argument to NOT do a broadbased pardon immediately upon inauguration.
Everyone seem to argue that the prisoners need to be freed ASAP and the committee / judges that jailed them arrested quickly (treason?).
