For sure he is much easier to take than McConnell …Younger and more energetic for sure
“may be used”
is DC lawyer speak for backing out of a commitment that called for “WILL be used”.
That said, I listened for a direct quote with “may” and didn’t hear one.
He did single out Democrats for potentially being un cooperative.
But failed to address the potential for Republicans themselves to not confirm.
After all, they have majorities (as of now). Dems should be on the sidelines.
Again … live in DC and work with them — especially the attorneys — and “weasel words” are notoriously popular. You learn to spot them INSTANTLY.
