If this guy thinks Israel has destroyed Iran’s ability to defend himself, I would certainly question his other conclusions.

How do explain his ridiculous assertion that Iran is unable to defend itself against Israel? He has that absolutely backward, and it isn’t hard to get that information. Israel leaders are in shock. They have never been in this position before, and it will only get worse. It is reported that over a million Israelis have already left. Many more will follow.

Please watch . If you cannot watch 20 minutes of a different take based on iformation you have not seen…then how can we have this discussion ?
I won’t dispute his call on the price of oil falling, but everything else he said sounds like it was dictated to him by the State Department. Worse still, he uses the New York Times as his source to determine the success of Israel’s attack on Iran. That’s a direct line to the Anthony Blinken right there. It beggars belief that the same types of missiles used without success against Russian air defences in Ukraine are now able to wipe out all the Russian air defences in Iran. Most of the sources that have been correct on the progress of Russia’s SMO tell a very different story to the one this guy is selling about Israeli success, both on it’s Iran attack, and the Hamas/Hezbollah fronts. By now we should also be aware that every story coming from the American or the Israeli governments is certainly a lie. This story, no doubt comes from one of those decrepit sources.

Hezbollah is a military and governmental force that defends southern Lebanon from the repeated military incursions of Israel. It’s odd that if you defend yourself against Israel you instantly become a terrorist. Hamas is a brutal organization fighting another brutal organization. The difference being they use rather rudimentary weapons while Israel bombs their schools, hospitals, apartment buildings and houses regularly using American high tech weapons. Yet somehow Hamas keeps fighting, and Israel keeps on killing defenceless civilians.
Fourteen months into this Gaza fiasco, Israel is no closer to victory. There forces are demoralized and worn down. These are mostly young, part time soldiers often forced to commit atrocities. They are not a good fighting force. In southern Lebanon they enter a death trap, fighting a well armed group which mostly are far more experienced and fighting on their home territory. Israel’s forces are getting the crap beaten out them. Israel began the war to free its northern territory from Hezbollah assaults which have made the area unliveable. Instead, twenty of thirty thousand more of their inhabitants have been displaced. None of them will be coming back to their homes. Before too long Hezbollah will occupy northern Israel. These people are at war with each other. It’s kind of naive to expect one side not to fight back. The only solution was to make peace, but Israel never even tried that route. Instead they used their big brother’s money and weapons to beat the shit out of their neighbours. Things have changed.
As to that Russia’s relationship with Iran:

Israel has never wanted peace. They have always attacked their neighbours. What they want is “Greater Israel”, which includes Lebanon, most of Syria, much of Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. I have no doubt that Israelis in general just want a peaceful existence. Their governments are a different story, particularly the Netanyahu government. They want to destroy anyone who stands in their way. Think of it the way we have come to think of America. Almost all Americans are fine people. They want what other fine people want, yet their government is a marauding behemoth going around the world picking fights, overturning governments, stealing resources and ordering countries around under threat of bombing by the “Finest Fighting Force in The World”. All governments are evil to a greater or lesser degree. In our time, Israel’s government, and America’s government are among the worst. America will survive their government, Israel won’t.
By the way, the Golan Heights is a part of Syria. Our friend is living on Israeli occupied land. I don’t blame him, of course, but that land was taken from Israel’s neighbour. They justify it as being essential to their security, but it’s not their land.
