Loading ...Mexican President Blames US For Upsurge In Cartel Violence In Sinaloa
This clown (President of Mexico) blames the US for taking down the cartel head as the reason for the violence. That may be a consequence, but if the Mexican government wasn’t one of the most corrupt on the planet, and did the job themselves, it wouldn’t have been necessary for the US to have finally taken the steps they did.
I wrote in the past that the US should give the Mexican government an ultimatum to stop the flow of illegals through their country to the US border and the drug cartel operations or we should do it for them. President Trump, if re- elected should issue such an ultimatum.
Within 6 months of taking office, if sufficient specific metrics showing progress have not been met, the US should udertake a special operation to accomplish those goals. The bill should be paid by the Mexican govt. which they can pay in ounces of silver. If not, the US should seize those ounces from the Mexican silver mines.
If we can go around sanctioning and threating numerous countries around the world for stupid shit that has no direct bearing on the US and it’s national security we can surely undertake a special operation to stop an increasing direct threat, to our national security.

How about policing the border properly rather than starting a border war. Remember, the Houthis just chased an American aircraft carrier out to sea, and the Taliban chased them out of Afghanistan. America starts a lot of wars, but doesn’t win many.
Telegraphing the message to the Mexican govt. that the status quo isn’t acceptable isn’t starting a war. Just like Putin finally having enough of Ukraine’s aggression from 2014 through 2022 causing him to have to take action, we have tolerated Mexican drugs and illegal border crossings for way too long. Defending your country from invaders is something every and any country must do.
The cartels thrive on the profits of running drugs to meet demand in the US.
The drug war has been more of a failure than even our “Export Democracy” wars.
Arguably, those three letter agencies actually USE the funding for the drug wars to launder money for their extra constitutional escapades, beyond the reach of Congressional oversight. Its been said that cartels now RUN Arizona’s government. I would guess NM and parts of Texas too.
Ie, don’t blame Mexico for not properly fixing a problem that originates HERE.

Numerous ways to accomplish it. First you present a bill. If they don’t pay you use economic sanctions and if that fails you seize it militarily. It is long past time the US military being used to protect US national security and not for frivolous ventures around the world where there is no real domestic threat to the US.
Just because drug demand in the US is high doesn’t exonerate the Mexican govt. for allowing their country to be controlled by drug cartels. Doesn’t drug demand exist throughout much of Europe and many other parts of the world? While they have their organized crime families and problems they don’t allow their entire country(s) to be overrun by drug cartels while the bulk of their population suffer in poverty.
