As I had stated from the get-go, F-16s were being utilized only in “safe” defensive roles in the far rear of the country to help shoot down Russian drones. Apparently even this task was too great for the poor F-16.

If this F-16 was shot out of the sky the Russians would have been out front about it. As far as I know, they haven’t commented, which leads me to believe it was destroyed on the ground in a hanger along with the pilot and probably others. Russians only count kills of men or machinery if they can quantify them. For this reason, one can probably double their public claims about Ukraine KIA. This is the finest military in the world. Everything they do is according to the book. The west, particularly NATO, is in shock about Russia’s military performance. They should be.
