“Samsung is already working with big automakers to incorporate its SS battery tech into EVs in development. The firm has signed an agreement with Toyota to begin mass production of SS batteries in 2027, with Lexus vehicles scheduled to be among the first to integrate the new technology.”
I had read previously Toyota had in development a very long range EV vehicle which is why they aren’t producing many currently and focused on hybrids. This makes sense as a vehicle with 2-3x the range of the current TESLA would be such a game changer for the car industry. Combined with a massively reduced charging time it would make all current EVs obsolete.
A big part of it, along with all the better performance, is the safety factor. Lithium is unstable and the fires are just going to get worse. The insurance companies will rush to a safer alternative that won’t have so many claims.
Wow!
Samsung is going to have to buy a silver mine if they are serious about this thing.
Make that several silver mines.
Should put a real CHARGE into silver!
Really. The Silver Shortage story has been in the market since I had a full head of hair.
These PR releases are always a product of mgmt and technical.
Lets see how these cost out at scale.
And, when is the rollout date (estimate)?

I am way ahead of them… Loaded with silver producers and short puts
