There is literally no overhead resistance unless you want to look at inflation adjusted POG, which iirc from a Jordan Roy Byrne post is probably very close to being broken finally as well.
But we all knew gold was going to do this. The more speculative questions are with respect to the mining stocks and silver.
Gold Stocks are Pathetic
No where near their peak that was made back when Gold was like $600 ….I have abandoned them except fpr the occasional unsuccessful gamble on GDXJ and SILJ
I don’t blame you. That being said. I really think Jordan’s point about gold finally breaking out vs a 60/40 portfolio (eg, BIGPX) is a huge deal for mining stock valuation.
You could also make the cynical argument that expropriation and nationalization of mining assets is being discounted in their valuation. It’s not a thesis you can just ignore at this point
The “All Time High” headlines should make investors take notice.
