“the definition of terrorism”. Terrorism
Type of criminal organization
Terrorism, in its broadest sense, is the use of violence against non-combatants to achieve political or ideological aims. The term is used in this regard primarily to refer to intentional violence during peacetime or in the context of war against non-combatants. (Wikipedia)
I submit that over the last 60 years or so, there is clearly one terrorist organization that is head and shoulders way ahead of all others in terms of money spent, people killed, governments toppled and economies and lives destroyed. I don’t even have to name that organization, the answer is obvious. When is enough, enough? When does it stop?
It only ends in revolution
Correct. When does it get to that level and what will be the result, are the key questions.
You think it only goes back 60 years? Try 160 years and that’s the starting point.
It stops when we get an implosion of everything. Much worse than the depression – which really was just a hiccup on the road to confiscating everything of value. Dithrived you know the consumption of meat and butter went UP in the depression?
It’s all a house of cards and when the bottom cards are pulled out it all falls down. THAT’S what’s coming, that’s when it stops.
There is one other option: states secede. Red states, really red states, call it quits and leave the union. Law and order and sound money the linchpins to thrive.
I believe your last paragraph is the more likely outcome. To get a real revolution you would need a majority (even a small one) throughout the country to revolt. Unfortunately, too many of them are either stupid, uninformed, complacent and or believe in the left, woke, totalitarian system we now have. The red states either individually or collectively, need to escape that system.
So what do you call the bombing of Hiroshima?
Not sure who you are asking that of. While I am clearly calling out the US govt./deepstate as being terrorists and I understand the argument that those two bombings were arguably not necessary to end the war, that was a declared war on both sides. I think you could make a better case that the US actually provoked Japan into going to war and attacking Pearl Harbor.
