NVDA & INTC
In early June I suggested NVDA might want to buy INTC and it would only be about 10% dilution. Now they could buy them for more like 7% dilution. They go into the DJIA, gain a domestic manufacturing component and won’t be as dependant upon and vulnerable to, any possible geopolitical and or supply issues from having almost all their chips manufactured in Taiwan.
If there were any worries about anti-trust, they have largely evaporated with Intel on the verge of a future bankruptcy. The govt. can’t and won’t allow that. Nvidia could probably get Uncle Joe and his team to fork over some tax credits or something, as an extra incentive, in addition to the billions they have already spent on Intel.
So do you think INTC is a good buy at the current price?
Damaged company. Bad fundamentals and broken chart. If you like to speculate you could make a few bucks but I wouldn’t recommend it.
That would be a brilliant move by nvidia
I’m with CM. Too soon to gauge the liabilities from this gen 13/14 design and TESTING failure.
And NVDA will have its own issues directly ahead. Maybe some pieces to acquire at a fire sale in the future.
Did you say issues, Sir Pedro?
Never underestimate the power of charts. Charts lead, news follows:
