Why the Fed rate cuts will start an 8-year recession cycle

   Don’t want to put words in your mouth so correct me if I am wrong but I believe what you meant was the FED rate cutting cycle will “mark” the recession cycle. The recession is baked in the cake partly because rates were raised and kept this high(compared to various other metrics) for too long. They should have eased off of 5-5.25 months ago. As he said in his tweet the two year telegraphs what the FED ends up doing eventually because the market, not the FED sets the short rates other than FED wanting to control things for political and narrative reasons. It should be on an auto pilot formula and the FED should be abolished.
