US Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle has resigned, one day after a contentious session with House lawmakers over security failures that facilitated the assassination attempt on Donald Trump on July 13, both NBC and ABC News report.
Of course, Mayorkas and Biden are ‘grateful’ to Cheatle for her ‘decades of public service,’ which was great aside from that whole almost getting Trump killed thing.

HAS this assassination attempt been in the planning stage since summer of 2022?? They NEEDED a patsy on the roof BUT ALSO a patsy to take the SS fall. Both destined to die (either literally or metaphorically) so that DS elite would be shielded from complicity. Will a car accident or drowning or suicide be next? (ie: shooting herself in the head with a nail gun – wasn’t it 16 times?) — DS elite surely prefer no loose ends.
They are chalking it up to incompetence

NO One is publicly talking about the fact this was obviously a set up ..

Another example of how dumb many of the people in powerful jobs are. When the performance of the SS in the Trump affair was noticed, her fate was sealed. Yet rather than resign she appears before this committee hoping to keep her job, only to be pissed all over, and then she resigns.
I would love for her to have been in the loop and turn around and be a whistleblower(given immunity) but more likely the orders came from above and she was not aware of the plan.
