With all the scrutiny on the failure/complicity of the IC regarding the assassination attempt, they are trotting out a new narrative that there were threats towards Trump by Iran. Everytime they need to take the spotlight off of their incompetence and criminality they trot out BS narratives about Iran, Russia, China and others to deflect the criticism.
