When asked about people in his own party calling for the 25th Amendment, Johnson said it’s up to Biden’s Cabinet to make that decision, and he asked them “to search their hearts” and “do our duty to do best by the American people,” Politico reported.

Johnson’s comments came hours after Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, said on X, formerly known as Twitter, he intended to call on Vice President Kamala Harris to invoke the amendment and declare Biden “unable to successfully discharge the duties and powers of his office.”
