Loading ...Precious Metals – Important Day & Critical Next Week
The action in early trading is positive and today is important. This is the first real test of the maxim, that gold (and silver) will really break out and run, when stocks rollover and decline sharply.
We need to see stocks fall hard throughout the day and the metals have big up days that build and hold into the close.
Next week will be critical to see if the stock market has topped and can have at least a 5-10% correction over the next few weeks or so. If it does, then the metals should run in the next new leg of their bull market.
Metals sure didn’t perform as you predicted this week…

Methinks Chartsmaster is more often right than wrong – often a timing thing as he is generally specific to a day or two. But trying to make calls on silver and gold is a fools game unless taking long term. The trend is what is important, not the fluctuations/corrections.

Fully, you are blowing this way out of proportion. He made a bold prediction that turned out to be wrong. I pointed out the fact that it was wrong. I did not attack his character, nor yours. I have a feeling he is a good friend of yours, so I will no longer say anything bad about his posts. You however did attack me in your above post, which I thought was against the rules of this board. What say you?

Chartsmaster is a friend like all posters here are friends . I don’t need to defend him. he has been attacked by others and he defends well.
Still don’t understand the personal attack on me. I stated an obvious fact. He was wrong. I am often wrong. Here is his post I was referring to from June 7th:
“… The metals will chop for the rest of the day but by the end of next week, making new ATH’s for Gold and breaking thru the $33-34 congestion zone, that I outlined for Silver.”
I simply stated it didn’t happen, and got jumped all over by you for that.
