Loading ...US Constitutional Literacy… Or Not?
I guess that’s one “good” thing government overreach has done, to bring to light just how far away from the Constitution our laws have evolved. The spotlight is shining brightly on the courts these days and Constitutional issues are surfacing “right” and “left.” The issues have reminded, even shown Americans what can happen if the Constitution is not followed, enforced, and adhered to.
We are repeatedly told that the Supreme Court is the final arbiter of the Constitution. This is far from the truth, and far from what is documented by our founders on the subject. Our founders in their writings and in the “Federalist Papers” continuously state the final arbiter of the Constitution are those that created the federal government. The created does not control the creator.
I hope you will find this information worthy to share. We need to reduce the number of constitutionally illiterate people in our country if we are to have any chance at all of saving this country.
