BRAZIL ON THE EDGE
“This is Michael Shellenberger, and I’m reporting to you live from Brazil, where a dramatic series of events is underway.
At 6:52 p.m. Sao Paulo time, Corporation X, formerly known as Twitter, announced that a Brazilian court had forced it to “block certain popular accounts in Brazil.”
Less than an hour later, X owner Elon Musk announced that X would defy the court order and lift all restrictions.
“As a result,” Musk said, “we will likely lose all revenue in Brazil and will have to close our office there. But principles are more important than profit.”
At any time, the Federal Supreme Court may block all access to X/Twitter for the Brazilian people.
It is no exaggeration to say that Brazil is on the brink of dictatorship in the hands of a totalitarian minister of the Federal Supreme Court called Alexandre de Moraes.
more……………..
I still don’t know what to think of Musk, but he knows how the game works, and he plays it well!
There are always shades of grey.
We’re clearly better off with him than without him.
Or with him at the helm, than a throw of the dice with someone else.
ABSOLUTELY
Personally I do’t see a problem with Musk
He is exactly what he says he is and what he appears to be IMO
