So the next time LT rates go up, is Gold going to fall because it yields nothing?
Long term bonds on edge
Does it look like ST bond gaps up are holding?
The Fed controls the short end of the curve, the market controls the long end.

Long term rates up, gold up as increasing long term rates are a vote of no confidence in the gov’t. Long term rates down, gold up as rates will come down short term as a short lived reaction to wwiii.
IMO, this gold bull has legs….I’d love to buy the dip in agq!!
Sir Hermit,
Why not buy some AGQ at the limit? And add more if the dip does happen?
I did not buy more AGQ and instead went after juniors.
I hold AGQ bought at 44 and 40, both positions still under water, but both totaling only 0.27% of my overall portfolio in cost terms.

Hi Sir GL,
If I didn’t own any, that’s exactly what I would do…right now, the world is waiting for Iran to respond, so no telling where this freight train leads. Fortunately, I’m already in!! But, I’d love to back up the truck at the gap close near ~$31… 🙂
It is hard to calculate the boost in profits the miners are experiencing at these price levels.
And we ain’t seen nothing yet…
