Flipping the House over to the Dems between now and November will NOT effect the Jan 2025 certification.
The outcome of the November election determines who controls the certification vote. The newly elected House is seated after the New Year and it is these newly elected representatives who vote for certification NOT the current House.
The Republican party should expel Gallagher, effective immediately.
Under Wisconsin law, congressional vacancies occurring “prior to the 2nd Tuesday in April” in an election year get filled on a faster timeline. An April 19th resignation will keep Gallagher’s seat vacant until November.

So one seat majority on April 19 when anti-American RINO Gallagher leaves; his seat will not be filled and will be vacant until next January. This is a giant FU to the people of Wisconsin that elected him.
May 20th the McCarthy California seat will likely be filled by another Republican.
In June The RINO Ken Buck seat will get filled likely with another Colorado Republican.
So unless another RINO or two resigns soon after April 19 the likelihood of the Democrats Socialist Hakeem Jeffries becoming Speaker is limited to a one to two month term.
Frankly I am glad these turds are going. Don’t want to see the House flip, but the way Buck and Gallegher are leaving should leave no doubt that they would rather see the socialist Democrats in power than conservatives. These are people who ought to be shunned by decent Americans.

Shunned? They should be hauled out in the woods and shot
What party controls the Wisconsin government?
The Republican Party controls both chambers of the state legislature.
Gov should call emergency session. Change the law (in cases of extended vacancies). Appoint a stand in.
Thanks pedro
Nobody seemed to know which house certifies the vote.
This is important clarification .
More reason for the Repubs to spend and campaign harder for house seats
MAGA seats

I’ve seen remarks both ways.
But this comment went unchallenged to the point I caught it.
