Why aren’t polls ever conducted (of the general public) on what the people think of this?
If I was in the WH wanting to initiate legislation on controversial issues, or other simpler reforms, I would do a private poll, and then if there’s decent support, commission a public poll. Then back that up by enlisting public pressure on legislators to get off their asses.
How many adults support the view its just an orientation?
Since the public doesn’t know its likely well under 5%, they don’t make a stink.
