The controversy over AI will go on forever. I for one was never scared about the technology threatening the human race. It is the people using the technology that threaten mankind.

The recent example of Google’s woke question about which is worse, a nuclear war or questioning someone’s gender identification, is exactly the kind of stupid nonsense that could lead to destroying the planet. Not because of the technology of AI, but the stupidity of both the question and the ideology behind some peoples idea of what the correct answer should be.

I just saw another example of why AI isn’t even capable in the most basic of use cases, yet. The question was put to it of which was worth more, 100 pennies or three quarters. It said the three quarters and the explanation made no sense. If they can’t even train this shit to do BASIC addition,(with the understanding of the value of each coin) it is worse than the computing we have had for 50 years.
