Now he is straight out declaring that Europe has run out of money (it “does not have sufficient financial reserves”) and that they need to “mobilize all the savings of Europeans” that are “currently dormant in European bank accounts” in order to finance the future, including Europe’s “defense effort”.

A trial balloon, getting the message out there, that capital controls are coming.
Capital will be restricted from leaving Europe and withdrawal of bank deposits will have restrictions.
Once WW3 starts, the G7 will impose similar measures on their countries. Canada included.
Various options available for G7 residents: Sell up and get out while you still can. Stay and start stocking up on long life food, stack metals and have cash at hand. Get out of the big cities that will become very unsafe places, and targets in a nuclear event.
I am serious. This is it folks. The real deal.

Many of us pulled 1000’s of $ from Canadian banks the week Freeland asked the Banks to freeze accounts. It sent a message.
If a nuclear WW3 is in play, other than some remote Southern Hemisphere location, there may not be a central government to worry about. Most assets on a stock exchange will be vapourized with limited valuations possible. The barter system will be alive and well until our health deteriorates from nuclear fallout.
Comes down to food, water, heat, protection and a medium of barter of critical items and/or possibly silver to facilitate exchange.

We have a (presently AWOL) example of Running away right into a brick wall. A member who moved from Europe to Brazil and now has to face the fact that Brazil is the worst nation on earth for Mandates. Lula has said vaccines will be FORCED upon everyone when the next need arises.
I also know an ex member who moved to Ecuador and is stuck there for the moment with a depreciation house value.
Also Panama was once deemed to be a good location…NOPE…major problems there.
We have a member who is happy in Dubai…BUT I would not be happy in Dubai …and most of us who have lived our lives in the West would agree.
we have a member in Africa but Africa is far from “stable” and immune from the fallout of a global financial system failure..famine would be a real concern . Not to mention the huge cultural shock. Not for me.

Well as the African contingent of Goldtent I can say one thing for sure: I don’t lose any sleep thinking that Vladmir Putin has nuclear missiles pointing at my city. Nor NATO either. And I don’t see homelessness and cracked out Meth users sleeping on the streets or loitering around with shopping carts and home made weapons.
I never see porn of any kind in any shops and people actually complain to the TV stations when there is too much tits and ass on the tube during school hours. Which means they still have boundaries and some sense of modesty and that they are trying to protect their children from being exposed to too much corrupt thought and images while still young. The TV stations respect the complaints and tone things down when asked. One station here even went off the air after showing a racy show that crossed boundaries people found unacceptable.
And I do not fear being randomly shot at by drive-by gangsters or mugged by addicts who lurch out of lane ways. I also don’t fear my house being broken into as most places are guarded or have high walls between neighboring compounds. And I don’t worry about growing old and dying alone since finding love is still easily possible in places like this where men and women still maintain traditional relationships and where feminism never really took hold or thrived.
I don’t worry about the vax either since most here never took the shots and fewer still have plans to get them since the rap on the shots is so bad lately. The one thing that worries me least is going hungry because I live in an agricultural society where most people still have small holding farms and grow some are all their own food. Unless you are very poor and have no family you would not go hungry in most places in Africa.
Mostly I value the fact that people are still very civil in an old fashioned way and they help one another willingly. The bitterness of the West is not evident here in most places nor in most company. The population is youthful and energetic and believes in itself. So the music is great, the food delicious, the people warm and friendly and the sun always shines with no obvious chemical trails in the skies. Yes its poor but that is not a liability unless you are really a needy, self absorbed, bored shopper with no life of your own.
Whats not to like? the place is family oriented, social and laid back. Its still like the 1960’s here. You can keep your big houses and fast cars and all the trappings of Western life that you all value so much. For me and mine, we shall enjoy life going by a little more slowly and without all the intrusions of an extreme reliance on technology of every kind. The world could end tomorrow and I doubt most people here would even notice it happened.

Life is amazing over here Kewl2. I really don’t know where to begin explaining the differences. I guess its just to say that the afflictions sickening the West are not evident here in the concentrations you guys all face every day. There are problems here of course. And shortages of all types. But they are normal problems and people genuinely care about their communities and way of life. The big difference is that there is no social entitlements or government handouts in most of these societies. That is the key. Nothing is free so everything is earned. It makes for a more ethical society and one that is serious in its relationships between the rulers and its subjects such that the bonds are still meaningful.

If there is …. WHEN there is an economic collapse, and bank assets melt down due to jingle mail (CRE or mortgages or ) then its bail ins and everyone’s securities UNDER THE LAW will be absorbed to pay off other banks.
Choose your bank wisely.
The Constitution won’t be able to stop it.
It would certainly be the great equalizer — starting out rich or poor — everyone would end up in the same boat — poor.
Some have much farther to fall than others but end result would be the same.
EU seems to be in the worst position but Canada with WEF leaders in charge of both Liberals and NDP has 2 years (until Nov 2025) to be the first to execute.
I don’t think they can pull it off but we’ve all witnessed the level of corruption that has been foisted upon Canadians — time will tell!
Too many people in Canada have low to no trust in Media, Medicine, shots and Government. Other than the brainwashed branch of 25% or so, most want a complete change. Sadly, the NDP still has a following after their betrayal of Canadians.
Thankfully, those who arrived from other countries legally in the past are the most vocal about the decay of the country. They are shocked. Comfortable Liberal white women are driving this insanity.
