Everywhere we look, across the West, someone is barking at us
that our country is being torn apart. From the border standoff
in Texas, the endless phony court cases against Donald Trump,
and the hyperbolic talk of a dollar collapse, if you’re an
American everyday is a struggle to see any reason for continuing
on as one country.
There is a campaign to dissolve all nation states. It’s already in
an advanced state in Europe, all that’s left is for the EU to close
the legislative loopholes. But it is particularly acute in the US, especially as we lurch
towards the 2024 presidential election.
It is the stated goal of many of the US’s enemies, to destroy it. For with a singular US,
still nominally based on the sovereignty of the individual and the several States, the
dreams of globalists cannot be maintained, no less achieved.
This month’s issue focuses on the attempts to bring about the end of the US through
the exhaustion that comes after a protracted demoralization campaign.
One of my favorite movies, of the past couple of years is
Zack Snyder’s Justice League. It’s a big, sprawling and, most
importantly, passionate look at a world having lost its hope
after the death of Superman.
The world of Justice League is one where we have lurched from
crisis to crisis after the revelation that the world is nothing like
what we thought it was. Many of our myths about gods
striding the earth millennia ago are real. There are powerful
alien empires converging on Earth to strip all of creation of its
volition, of its free will, embodied by something called the AntiLife Equation.
Early in the film, Hippolyta, leader of the powerful race of
woman, the Amazons, and tasked with guarding one of the
three keys to unlocking the Anti-Life Equation, remarks to one
of her lieutenants, “Evil doesn’t sleep. It waits.”
Every time I think about where we are in this crisis period of
the historical cycle those five words rattle around in my head.
We are beset by evil people who will not stop trying to impose
their will upon us. Defeats are always temporary. They are
always opportunities for finding another way to achieve their
stated goal.
The Davos Crowd are clearly pursuing their own version of the
Anti-Life Equation with all their talk about chips in our heads,
total surveillance, and programmable money.
At the same time, we have a never-ending propaganda
campaign designed to strip us of our hope that there is anyone
out there actively opposing this. And while I’m not naïve
enough to believe that there’s a Superman out there to save us
from these demons, I do believe the metaphor of Superman and
the rest of the Justice League is worth considering.
They are us, faults and all. We have the black-pilled Aquaman,
the uncertain Flash, the re-engaged Wonder Woman and the
bitter teenager, Cyborg. They are brought together by a fallen
Batman desperate to redeem himself for giving into a rage that
led to Superman’s death. Bruce Wayne’s mission is to lead us
out of the darkness and renew our faith in ourselves.
Stories have power. They have the power to create or destroy,
depending on their intent
A few months ago Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) released Barack
and Michelle Obama’s version of today’s world with their
cynical and insipid Leave the World Behind. It was supposed to
be a serious look at what happens when middle class white
people are confronted with the consequences of their
selfishness.
What it winds up as is an unintentionally hilarious look at the
minds of those living in the disconnected bubble of Washington
D.C.
Ultimately, however this movie was intended to demoralize us
into accepting that a world with America at war is inevitable,
because racism. Sadly, those caught up in the anxiety creation
engine that is social media believe that.
It’s a message as fatuous as it is false. The war America is
fighting isn’t an organic one that grew out of our past sins. It’s a
wholly manufactured one pushed by foreign actors who believe
they will ultimately benefit by America going away.
Because it is America that is standing in the way of
implementing their Anti-Life Equation. This is to take nothing
away from Russia, China, and the rest of the so-called Global
South’s resistance to these people. They are clearly tired of this
colonial mindset as well.
But it is America that is the fulcrum on which the future of
humanity’s near-term prospects rest. Because America’s system
handed to us by the Founding Fathers was meant to act as a
guide to lead to a better humanity, based on self-reliance,
inherited rights, and humility. For a lot of our history, it did just
that.
Today, however, an America Empire at war with itself has the
capacity to inflict untold damage on the rest of the world. That
has a lot of people, including Americans, very worried.
An America led by functional morons is a force for chaos
blindly pointed at problems they believe the country cannot
ignore, lest it lose the ability to lead. America’s might isn’t yet a
Potemkin Village, but it very well is becoming that by pursuing
spending policies and adopting regulations that hollow out the
core of our economy leaving wastelands where once there were
communities.
These policies are what fuel the perceptions the US is
unsustainable as a political entity. The Biden administration
floods the country with the rest of the world and calls it
“security.” It unleashes the worst inflation since the 1970’s and
calls it “prosperity.” And it calls being tied down in at least four
separate conflicts from Kharkov to the Gulf of Aden and calls it
“National Defense.”
But, worse than all of that, it is also being pushed into conflict
with rising powers like China and Russia to ensure that all
combatants are weakened beyond repair for the benefit of the
globalist mindset that this is the best that humanity can and
should aspire to.
Bills of Attainder
I don’t believe in coincidences in geopolitics. So, the timing of
Tucker Carlson’s interview with Russian President Vladimir
Putin just ten days before the pivotal Munich Security
Conference was noteworthy. Ten days later the death of
Russian “dissident” Alexei Navalny at age 47 in a Siberian
prison is just as noteworthy.
Carlson finally got the interview
with Putin that he’d wanted for
three years. Here he is, now
openly challenging the globalistcontrolled media by creating his
own network, getting this
interview with Putin at a critical
juncture in the war in Ukraine.
He follows it up with an even more
important interview with Mike
Benz of the Foundation for
Freedom Online where Benz details the origins of and the
extent to which the US government shapes the narratives
surrounding, well, everything important to the national security
apparatus.
The media is the reinforcement engine of their anxiety creation
machine. It doesn’t matter that we can look at their
propaganda and laugh at it, seeing it for all its crudity.
Repetition is their main weapon, not accuracy.
Whenever I look at any of them talking about being committed
to helping Ukraine restore their democracy they just look like
John Cleese from an old Monty Python skit. The key to those
sketches was that the characters fully believed in the bullshit
they were spewing. Cleese’s genius, in particular, was selling
the earnestness of the character he was playing.
We laughed at it then.
But today, as Putin said towards the end of his interview with
Carlson, “It would be funny if it weren’t so sad.”
Ukraine’s position on the battlefield is crumbling. It’s running
out of both soldiers and weapons. The fortress at Avdiivka has
fallen. For the first time President Zelenskyy had to explain
why they were evacuating the rest of the troops there – to
preserve their lives – rather than deadpan that the next
counterattack was coming and Avdiivka wasn’t strategically
important anyway.
This came about because the West has dragged its feet on
another round of funding from the EU and the US for Ukraine.
Even though, in the end Hungary’s Viktor Orban caved to the
immense pressure from the EU, he delayed the money for
months, also forcing it to be spread out over four years, rather
than dumped in all at once.
Yes, the globalists got their ?50 billion to launder through
Ukraine, but that money will no longer be even close to enough
to change the outcome on the ground there.
At the same time, the US House of Representatives refused to
pass a massive $100+ billion foreign aid bill without also
forcing the Biden administration to wholly reform our domestic
border control situation. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA)
followed through on his promise to fight the globalist spending
machine. After a $95 billion bipartisan bill passed through the
Senate, Johnson stymied House Democrats and GOP Neocons
by calling for a two-week recess.
Johnson has been trying to get Biden to meet with him about
the border, but the White House categorically refuses. It’s the
same strategy employed by Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) two years ago
over tying the Build Back Better spending bill to both the Debt
Ceiling and the separate infrastructure bill.
She stonewalled. Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Krysten Sinema (DAZ) refused to budge and
eventually the debt ceiling was
raised, Build Back Better died and
the infrastructure bill gutted.
But note the difference between
the EU and the US. Without any
other allies and a legislature that
has no real authority, the EU could
threaten Hungary with internal
sanctions that would rival what
the West placed on Putin in 2022.
In the US, the Speaker of the House simply says no to a ruinous
bill being brought to the floor and the bill stops cold. As they
went to recess a smaller version of the Senate bill was
introduced, $66 billion in size, that is nothing but weapons
spending to rebuild stockpiles depleted over the past two years
supporting Ukraine.
The rest of the money earmarked is gone. This bill is intended
to get GOP support in the House to go around Johnson and
force a vote against his wishes. I expect it will pass, eventually,
as all the money goes to the right people in our defense
industry. I’ll be happy to be wrong on this front.
I suspect that there is a different explanation for the hysteria
surrounding this funding. The American people want both the
border secured and to stop throwing good money after bad in
Ukraine. And yet, our leaders persist in rehashing the lies of
two years ago.
Putin won a major propaganda victory with his interview with
Carlson, even if he didn’t say one thing we political obsessives
haven’t heard from him before. He wasn’t speaking to us; he
was speaking to those who haven’t heard his side of the
Ukraine story. And while many deeply invested in the narrative
of plucky Ukraine beating back the evil Russians will continue
to believe that a lot of people will finally question it.
By the way, Mike Benz named names of those most responsible
for repeating that story. They are exactly who you thought they
were. They still shamelessly cling to these stories hoping to
slow the adoption of Putin’s “misinformation.
These fights on Capitol Hill are emblematic of just how dark
things are up there. There’s a palpable sense of desperation
coming from the White House. Biden held a press conference
discussing Navalny’s death, perfectly in sync with the approved
narrative that, “Make no mistake, Putin did this.” It defies basic
logic that Putin would kill Navalny in jail while he’s winning
hearts and minds as well as on the ground in Ukraine.
But we’ve been treated to this story before, that Putin is a
crazed killer, irrational and vindictive. It’s akin to them
screaming that he blew up his own pipeline, Nordstream 2, or
poisoned various people in the UK, like Alexander Litvinenko
and Sergei and Yulia Skripal, or massacred civilians at Bucha
during the early days of the war.
Putin is many things, but irrational is not one of them. That is
the biggest propaganda win for him with the Carlson interview,
millions saw him as a rational actor who you can agree or
disagree with over his view of history and his actions in support
of it.
It is the sharp contrast between him and Joe Biden, however,
that the White House and Davos
needed to counter. And in my
opinion, looking at this through
the lens of cui bono, I can only
conclude that Navalny was an
asset whose only value now was
as a martyr, a pawn sacrificed on
the altar of globalism.
For Biden and those who stand
behind him, who they were really
angry with was the House, for
denying them the political win
that Navalny’s death was
supposed to give them at the
opening of the annual Munich
Security Conference, by spending
more money on ill-advised
conflicts.
The Confluence of Munich
When I heard that Vice President
Kamala Harris was speaking at
the Munich this year, I knew that
I had to hold back on my
commentary for this month by a
few days. The first thing that went through my head was her
speech in 2022 at Munich which effectively gave the green light
to Ukraine becoming a member of NATO and blessing
Zelenskyy’s plea for nuclear weapons to defend themselves
from Russia.
Less than a week later Russia attacked. This speech was, in my
opinion, the catalyst for the war in Ukraine. It said to Russia
there was not going to be a negotiated settlement based in
realpolitik but one settled through force of arms.
Given the circumstances domestically, handing Harris the
armed grenade again to throw into the geopolitical fray seemed
the obvious next move. Biden is beset on all sides, including
from within his own party, over both his health and obvious
corruption in Ukraine. The political winds are rife with
speculation as to who will replace him on the presidential
ticket.
The one person that hadn’t been in that conversation was
Harris. So, Harris going to Munich to play warmonger seemed
like the perfect setup to paint her with the same brush as Biden,
tie her to a failed policy both on the border and in Ukraine and
then move both out later this year.
So, I was shocked when I read the transcript of her speech at
Munich. Despite the strong language with her repeating the
phrase “Make no mistake” twice to remind us how serious she
is, there was nothing in this speech, like Putin’s interview, that
we haven’t heard before.
America will continue to lead. Russia has paid a huge price.
Plucky Ukraine is still defending itself. It is our sacred honor to
support them.
Biden’s press conference used the same language. But was
absent was anything concrete, like there was two years ago.
When asked by the press about responding to Navalny’s death,
Biden went over the past. He didn’t indicate anything else
coming.
Harris’ speech was the same concoction of platitudes, the same
statement that nothing would change. We would support
Ukraine, because NATO is
eternal, but nothing was said that
would signal things would
escalate. Putin said he won’t
attack Poland unless Poland
attacks Russia. The US said it
won’t attack Russia unless Russia
attacks any inch of NATO space.
Ukraine is not NATO. Last
summer’s NATO Summit which
saw then UK Minister of Defense,
Ben Wallace passed over for
another year of Jens Stoltenberg
as Secretary General made that
point. The reports then were
that Biden himself ended
Wallace’s candidacy. Harris’
speech is a further down
payment on what happened then.
She was supposed to make a
“major policy statement”
according to an early report from
The Hill, a mouthpiece for the
administration.
And yet there was nothing
interesting policy-wise from her speech. Whoever fed The Hill
that headline left them looking pretty silly.
If anything, this speech, at this moment in time, tells me a few
things. First, that reality in Ukraine is setting in. Ukraine has
lost the war and that keeping NATO alive is the prime concern.
Second, it says that Harris is not the moron that our media has
made her out to be.
The problem for both of them is that they are losing that battle.
Harris may be a dullard, but she isn’t stupid. She saw this
setup for what it was and chose not to fan the flames of war. If
someone wanted this thing to escalate between the US and
Russia, she wasn’t going to go full war hawk get the backing of
the DNC superdelegates to succeed Biden to become the
Democrat who loses to Trump.
This implies that whatever machine was in place to rig the 2020
election, as Mike Benz laid out, either isn’t strong enough to
tempt Harris with a run for the presidency or they don’t want
her anyway.
Now the open question is whether the DNC can move Harris
out of the way to replace Biden since she is Vice-President after
all. But if you look at the way the Democrats are acting, you’d
never know it.
Indulge me if you will because it looks like one of those latescript plot twists is looming. I found it interesting that Alex
Soros, inheritor to George’s billions and his ties to British
Intelligence, let the world know this same week that he was
dating Hillary Clinton’s former Chief of Staff Huma Abedin
within 24 hours of Hillary trying to look relevant during an
interview where she harpy screeched her way through a review
of the Carlson/Putin interview.
Hillary is the Democrats’ high priestess of neoconservatism.
Even if she doesn’t believe in their Trotskyite fantasies, she
believes in power for power’s sake, which makes them fellow
travelers.
They have control over the national security architecture, she
still desperately wants revenge on Trump, to be the first female
president, and set up the Clinton family legacy.
This revelation makes all our pre-election hypotheses about
who is going to be the candidate for 2024 to replace Biden look
specious. Obama is losing control over the DNC with Biden’s
troubles and all the revelations of spying on Trump.
It may not be the sovereigntists who I’ve argued exist going
after Biden, it may be the Neocons, Soros, and Hillary. I’ve now
personally counted four Hillary sightings in the past week.
That implies strongly the Davos/Neocon split I’ve argued for in
the past is not only real but intensifying as they lose control
over the media narrative, as embodied by Tucker Carlson
leading a media revolution, of which Gold, Goats ‘n Guns is a
small part.
Soros backing Hillary on the DNC side and Haley on the GOP
may mean that there are further plot twists in this story to
come. It would map with the well-worn strategy of leaving us
with the false choice between Haley and Hillary with the goal
still being to pursue war in 2025 and beyond, with a time out
called in 2024 to re-arm and re-group after project Ukraine
falters.
The only thing everyone agrees about is that NATO is the single
most important thing on the planet. Trump is countering with
attacking NATO’s purpose while the new front-runner for his
running mate, Tulsi Gabbard, has been picking up the, “NATO
allies won’t help us,” talking points that Trump has been
putting down.
I’ve said from the beginning Gabbard was the most logical
choice for Trump’s VP. DeSantis needs to finish the job securing
Florida from invasion and oversee Wall St.’s exodus from New
York.
At the same time, Putin and Russia need a break from the
warfare. Most likely they will take a reprieve if they can get
one this spring during the Russian elections. They will finish
securing the Donbass while what’s left of the Ukrainian army
retreats. If Putin is smart, however, he will keep taking as
much territory as he can while pursuing a political decapitation
of Zelenskyy in Kiev.
Would there be anything more demoralizing for America than
these two corrosive women running for President? Haley
should be gone by Super Tuesday. But if she doesn’t quit the
race after Trump beats her in South Carolina, then you must
take it as a sign they will try something between now and the
GOP convention.
Hillary vs. Haley is literally the only thing more depressing than
a rehash of Hillary v. Trump. Hillary and the forces around her
were not asleep. No. They were just waiting.
Talk about an Anti-Life Equation. If there was ever a time for
men to step up and provide a little bit of hope for us to build
from it is now. Justice League told us that, in the end, who we
were, good or bad, disconnected or arrogant, may have brought
us to this moment. But it’s what we do now when the stakes
are high that can change everything.
