This story is near and dear to me personally . I made up that headline to get some attention here .

Thanks to Kewl2 for keeping me in the loop regarding this issue. Now it has also gotten Jeff Childers attention.

First …here is my first hand experience with this :

in 1972 ( my first year in dental School ..university of Toronto ) we had a course in preventive dentistry . Fluoride was a BIG topic. We were told that fluoride is absorbed in tooth enamel . It switches out a normal ion and embeds a more acid resistand ion into the Hydroxyapatite ( enamel ) making it less prone to the ravages of decay . Thats great !

So we were told that places with “natural” fluoride in the water at 1 part per million had far less tooth decay than places with no Fluoride . Sooo…It was a Prudent Public Health initiative to add Fluoride into the drinking water supply ( this was long before bottled water) to reduce dental decay . This was a noble self sacrificing goal of all Dentists because of course fewer cavities means less $ for Dentists. So…We were the Righteous Profession…sacrificing our incomes for the common good.

Of course in First year dental School you did believe whatever you were told. We were told there were thousands of studies proving fluoride hardens enamel. And as an aside After all these years It Certaily DOES do that .

BUT…I remeber thinking WTF ? Why put it in the watter supply ? 1 part per million …How much water do you need to drink for that to help your teeth as it briefly encounters them on the way to your organs ? Sounded like over kill

They put Fluoride in toothpaste of course . AND we still apply it to kids teeth at each cleaning appointment in a very stron concentration for about 1 minute and then rinse it off. Very little gets into the system from brusshing and fluoride rinses .

BUT in the water supply ?

Anyhow one day they literally marched us of on a “field trip” to the Ontario Legislature building which was 2 blocks away

We were there to support a Bill by the Ruling Party of the day to put Fluoride in the Toronto water supply.

There was much opposition from the crazy conspiracy nutbars of course . One guy I rmrmber even got up and said …What are all these students doing here. Shouldn’t they be in school. Taxpayers are paying to educate them . What do they know about this issue other than what they are being force fed ?

Anyhow long story short. The bill passed and there has been Fluoride in all the province’s Large water supplies ever since then.

Over the years the issue often came up . They decided to put it in the water tower supplying the little village where my practice was. there were only 2 dentists in this village. The other guy was a Fluorid evangelist. he was interviewed by the local newspaper and strongly advocated for the Fluoride Agenda.

He called me to support him and I declined .

Anyhow…so fast forward to now…Joe Mercola has been strongly anti Fluoride for many years BTW. And He has been right.

I feel sick that this “Public health” agenda has been so strongly supported by the Dental Community .

This shit is pure poison when ingested . it is a toxic byproduct of industrial waste. You may as well be putting traces of arsnic in the water .

YOU MUST ADMIT …IT WORKED THOUGHT…LOOK AT THE PRESENT GENERATION OF USEFUL MORONS WITH THE IQ OF NEANDERTHALS

RANT OVER…SHEESH !

…………………Jeff Childers Take……………

A major anti-fluoride lawsuit wrapped up this week. There’s nothing in the media yet, of course, but Science.org ran a skeptical story about the lawsuit last month headlined, “Does fluoride in drinking water lower IQ? Question looms large in court battle.”

This fluoride lawsuit is the first case to get to trial under a ‘new’ 2016 Toxic Substances Control Act provision that lets citizens ask courts to assess a chemical’s risk when regulatory agencies prove unreliable. So years back, the Flouride Action Network used the Act after the EPA denied its request to ban fluoridation, saying the request lacked a “scientifically defensible basis.”

This week they finally got to trial.

The case is kind of exciting. They found a smoking gun. On top of scads of published studies, the FAN folks also unearthed an unpublished report drafted by the federal government’s own National Toxicology Program that concluded it was “moderately confident” that drinking water with fluoride just slightly over federal limits was associated with lower IQs in children.

Then — I realize you’ll find this hard to believe — FAN found compelling evidence that CDC officials actively tried to suppress the Toxicology report’s publication. Remember, an attempt to conceal something is also admissible evidence of consciousness of guilt.

The FAN folks seem pretty confident that the real science, as opposed to The Science™, shows that the tooth-hardening chemical is not, in fact, safe at any level. Which, if true, would mean they’ve been lying to us for a very long time for very questionable reasons. A few years ago, I wouldn’t have given this story a moment’s thought, I would’ve thought it was just more kooky, crunchy granola, Birkenstock-wearing conspiracy theories. But now, having had my face rudely shoved into the FDA and CDCs rotten, corrupt posterior over mask and vaccine “science,” nowadays it always seems safest to assume the conspiracy folks are right until the CDC proves otherwise.

A couple Florida counties have outright banned fluoride, one large county as recently as just a few days ago, which of course made liberals lose their science-loving minds. This inversion of traditional political positions is truly bizarre. Four years ago, I would’ve associated attempts to ban fluoride with tree-hugging liberals. Now … it’s suddenly conservatives. Remarkable.

The judge is now thinking about the case and all the evidence. We’ll find out what happens when he enters an order.

I guess … Progress?
