Superior Court Justice Narissa Somji ordered a retrial last week for Allen Remley, a convoy participant who had been acquitted on a mischief charge.
The Lich trial started on September 5, 2023 so the 5 month anniversary is approaching rapidly! That’s five months (so far) of defense lawyer costs while the government prosecution team is paid for by taxpayers. Is the trial being purposefully “stetched in time” to bankrupt the defense effort and/or enable sufficient time for creation of a “crime” for which she might then be convicted??
