The US Military (not the actual troops that served, many of whom died) has been a complete and total failure since winning WW2. After a stalemate in Korea it has lost every major conflict since Vietnam when not counting walkovers like Panama and pushing Saddam Hussein out of Kuwait. It has been a huge waste of blood and treasure and is the reason the US is in trillions of dollars of debt. All foreign US bases should be closed. The level of troops should be cut back dramatically and deployed for the sole purpose of defending the homeland. The actual Pentagon buildings should be demolished. PS: Why am I not surprised to see that a Google search revealed the date ground was first broken for the construction of the Pentagon, Sept. 11th 1941!
