Does a victim of a crime deserve any less or more justice based on the perpetrator’s motive? Does anyone think for a second MOTIVE will not be conjured and politicized (George Floyd)? I believe this is where RINO’s gain legitimacy among true conservatives who are not paying attention to what their world will look like when the pendulum swings to the RIGHT. I want no part of it.
The heinous 1998 crime against James Byrd Jr. did not need hate-crime status for justice to be dealt – decades later.
Thank you YYZ. One of my biggest pet peeves is the labelling of crimes with extra special categories. Hate crimes, No drug zones, No gun zones etc. If something is a crime it should be fully prosecuted, no matter who committed it and no matter who the victim is or was. These special categories are BS and nonsensical.
