Way Over The Line Greetings!

There’s no new photo gallery of the travels in Morocco, just the news that I was able to cross an officially closed border yesterday, from Azerbaijan to Dagestan. Now I’m in a town called Derbent which, for a town I had never heard of before, has an amazingly long and rich history. It’s worth checking out.

Classic cold and wet December weather arrived here with me. In spite of the weather, there’s plenty to do. So much, in fact, there hasn’t been much progress with the Morocco photos. But there are three photos and a couple videos of what I was busy with tonight in Derbent, where apparently the local people become more lively after dark:

However long, here’s to rich histories!

PS I know Fully will blame me for what happened this morning, which is explained in the gallery description.  What can I say?!
