Carbon Tax Scam
The U.S. government and state governments currently do not impose carbon taxes on the population.
See this short 4+ minute video provided by ‘Clear Energy Alliance’ which explains why carbon taxes clearly are a scam.
For my Canadian friends, consider that the amount of carbon emissions released by Canadian forest fires (2023) potentially exceeds annual carbon emissions from burning of fossil fuels in Canada by as much as 300 percent. I will provide a rough back-of-the-envelope calculation and other data to show this in the comments section.
Estimated Carbon Released by Canadian Wildfires in 2023:
Total Carbon = (46 million acres) x (20 cords wood per acre) x (0.66 metric tons Carbon per cord)
= 607 million metric tons
Estimated CO2 Released by Canadian Wildfires in 2023:
Total CO2 = (607 million metric tons Carbon) x (44 tons CO2 /12 tons of Carbon)
= 2,226 million metric tons CO2
Reported (2021) Total Annual CO2 Emissions in Canada from Burning Fossil Fuels Plus Industrial Processes = 550 million metric tons
Conclusion 1: Canadian wildfires in 2023 potentially released 4X the amount of CO2 reportedly released by burning of all fossil fuels plus industrial processes in 2021.
Conclusion 2: Carbon taxes that are being levied against Canadian citizens are a scam, and natural sources of carbon emissions are controlling.
