Apparently the Nuremburg Code is codified in the Costa Rica Constitution.
So this case which has been accepted by the High Court in CR looks to be very significant.

The Nuremberg Code has been a touchstone for basic human decency for more than seventy five years. One could not imagine any government, in this day and age, getting away with flouting these basic humane principles. Well, not one government, but all governments were able to brush aside this sacrosanct notion of basic human rights. That is how far we have fallen. And by we, I do mean all of us. All government savagery occurs in our name. It is our responsibility to put an end to it!
