Sounds guilty, looks guilty, smells guilty so case dismissed — JPMorgan Chase settles Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking suit by U.S. Virgin Islands for $75 million

JPMorgan Chase said it will pay $75 million to settle a lawsuit by the U.S. Virgin Islands alleging that the American bank facilitated and benefited from the sex trafficking of young women by its longtime customer Jeffrey Epstein.
- JPMorgan also said it had reached a settlement with Jes Staley, a former executive at the bank who had been friends with Epstein, to resolve claims by JPMorgan that he was responsible for any civil damages and costs associated with Epstein-related litigation.
- Epstein had been friends with Donald Trump, Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew of Britain.

I’m beginning to think that even if ‘discovery’ had been made instead of avoided – would it change many minds? Obviously no one was going to pay for what was done regardless. So far they are untouchable.
